Alflives
I like it for us. I feel sorry for Tanev.

How is this benefitting us? Like I said this morning in another similar proposal Since 2005, only 4 top 10 picks were traded with someone moving up. Teams were moving up 2,3,4 spot and it cost a mix of 2nd and 3rd rounder to jump. Now Ottawa gets to jump 9 spots and get Tanev and it only cost a 2nd rounder and a marginal bottom 6 player. BIG PASS! https://twitter.com/CapFriendly/status/1006184853182865408

I'm not thinking that Goldy is worth a whole lot. If Fla thinks he's useful to them, then maybe Van keeps the #40 19 minutes ago, timberz21 said: 19 minutes ago, timberz21 said: Now Ottawa gets to jump 9 spots and get Tanev and it only cost a 2nd rounder and a marginal bottom 6 player. BIG PASS! https://twitter.com/CapFriendly/status/1006184853182865408 It cost Ott their #19 + Demello, who had a break out season this year. GP74: 4g-18a-22pts. He average toi was +18m and had a -1 (which is amazing when most of the other d were in the double digits for +/-). He is described as a big strong puck-moving defenceman who likes to jump into the play and shoot his big booming shot on the fly. He can play in all situations and thrives in offensive situations because of his shot and hockey sense. Slight risk, but I think this guy becomes a mid-pairing rd. Also, Vancouver gets 3.450m cap relieve in the difference in salary between Tanev + Demello.
