204CanucksFan
Definitely showed why he is still the Canucks top prospect and that he can absolutely be a force in the NHL. Like a few others have already said, he easily could/should of had a few more points tonight, just no luck when he set his teammates up for easy opportunities. 2

He was outmuscling guys and making plays all night. Could have easily had 7 points with a bit better finish on his passes. Easily the best player tonight and you’re right he gifted a couple players that couldn’t capitalize. What I was most impressed with was the other aspects of his game. The shot blocks and takeaway on the penalty kill. The never give up attitude. The way he fights for the puck. And the little things i noticed him around his teammates. Played like a captain 3 2
DeNiro
Big test against Costmar and team Sweden tomorrow. Lets see if he can ride that confidence to another strong performance.
Zhukini
Wasn’t even close to the player he was the last 3 games he’s played in. engaged, fast, smart powerful, the game looked too easy for him today.
Elias Pettersson
Wait isn't Podkolzin supposed to be a bust? That's what CDC told me. Maybe a good 4th liner...

Of course I’m cheering for Canada but it’s pretty meh to me watching them pummel some of these teams lol
HomeBrew
Based on this, I'm gonna say 6'2". KNYAZEV Artemi, number 3, is listed as 6'0" and SAFONOV Ilya, number 24, is listed as 6'4".

I think I’ll secretly be a Russian fan tomorrow

If he had shot it harder , he would have had a hat trick. Lol. Ok, so maybe I was just grumpy for the last little bit

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Podkolzin was playing great so far prior to this, game, he officially made a statement with this game tonight, that all the doubters and whiners need to judge the player based on their will and not just the skill.
ohmy
This kid is the real deal. His best qualities will compliment a gifted player like Pettersson. In their prime, they could be disgustingly dominant. Hes gonna be like a T.Wilson/A.Radulov hybrid leaning a little more Wilson with slightly less physicality. Okay but there was very little will before this game. If you go back it wasn’t us complaining about the lack of points. It was the floating and lack of intensity in battles.

The real separation with these guys is what they can do against teams in elimination games.
