Shows the coach knows who is the best overall player and he can't afford to play politics any longer. Crazy how all year the critique was he wasn't playing enough (fair), and now in the most important moments they are turning to Podkolzin in every situation. Very impressive. It's hard not to be over the moon about this kid. Exactly the type of player we need. 2 10

Can’t wait to see him in the lineup. 2
Popular Post CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Look at his celebration at the end (92). SKA wins 1-0 late in the third period, just watch his reaction. This kid cares about winning, he will do everything possible to win. He has shown time and time again he is willing to pay the price for the better of the team even when it comes at a cost to his own personal success. He goes to the net, creates the scream and havoc in front of the net, battles physically and earns his team a goal. His reaction is even better, the pure jubilation in his face shows his desire and hunger to win. This kid is a gem, we need that attitude on our team. 4

Button is always gushing about him for year's, he loves the kid and for good reason. Stat watchers and haters, aside, at 18 he was a leader, at 19 he's been captain of 2 national team's and is being counted on in a prime role on one of the best teams and arguably the showcase team of the league. Just another solid piece of an already elite young core moving forward. Hope to see him this season but that's doubtful unless the worlds get cancelled but man next season we probably see OJ, Podz, Rathbone, Lind and Woo, Lockwood, maybe Gajovich, possibly Dipietro? That's a hell of a lot of Elcs coming in right as the contracts that won't be part of the core expire, fun times. 2

Like your enthusiasm but probably just OJ, Pods and Rathbone next year with the rest as possible call ups later on in the season in spot duty. Nice to finally have some quality depth on the farm to choose from.

Just like Tryamkin I will not rest easy until both of them sign a contract. The positive is that some of those KHL teams were bouncing cheques last year. Very exciting that Podz and Try could be in the lineup next fall.
WeneedLumme
Don't see what the big deal is about this kid. I looked at those clips and what did he do? In one he fell down. And in the other he just hung around with his butt in the goalie's face waiting for his linemates to score. What use is a guy that? That idjit JB shoulda got one of the guys what scored the goal. 1

Gadjovich may surprise in training camp. But for sure he will get called up and may play himself right into the starting lineup.
