I posted an article in the trade thread where San Jose staff referred to him earlier this year as their top AHL prospect (and apparently a player that was expected to get a good, long look at their upcoming NHL training camp). Weird trade by them in my opinion. Moving up late in the draft seems redundant, unless they really wanted Pyatt Perron could definitely be a blackhorse player to steal a spot this year. Even if he doesnt steal a spot, his value in Utica is priceless. 2

Would have to clear waivers I believe, but that would be a huge add down there. Maybe San Jose plans to pick him up once waived?

Sharks have only 7 forwards under contract right now, while we already carry 13, not including our unsigned free agents. Not all that improbable that we waive and they put in a claim. I think he’s a top 6 talent floundering on the bottom 6. JT Miller Pettersson Boeser Gaudette Horvat Jake Virtanen those should be your top 6, Baer has too many concussions and I think Virtanen is going to have a breakout year. Massive work needs to be done to our bottom 6 I don’t even want to go there. Wouldn’t know where to begin. Pearson tore it up with Horvat at year end. I doubt they consider this any time soon.

Popular Post Specz
Guys I saw a video of this kid squatting 8 plates. I see 200lbs+ guys at my gym who struggle with 6. What a fitness beast... 4
Popular Post canuckledraggin
Christmas in June getting Hoglander and Podkolzin. There's no way that these 2 players aren't in the NHL within 2 years. I'm gonna put this out into the universe. Hoglander can make the Canucks this season. 3

Holglander sure gets from one end to the other quick.

Nucker 67
Very exciting to have this kid in the system. The Canucks desperately needed more on the left side. He'll be great fun to watch.
