Junkyard Dog
Hopefully he can get on the scoreboard next game with a goal or two and really build up his confidence. He already has 1/4 of last seasons point totals and he has only played 2 games.

MrCanuck94
Seems like Hoglander is someone the Canucks see making the roster along with some other kids (Juolevi,Macewen,Chatfield) to balance out the flat cap. Wouldn't be surprised if this means we'll try to offload Roussel.

Wouldn't worry me .... in Lind we have a bigger, younger, faster, feistier version waiting his chance.

Oh yeah, Chocolate is gonna push for a roster spot this season for sure! I love the game he plays. He's got Burrows upside, pesky top 9 forward, but can play in your bottom 6 and won't hurt you.
GoCanucks16
In my opinion, Lind is likely never going to be a full-time NHL player. Edited October 7, 2020 by debluvscanucks

flat land fish
The question for Lind is does he have enough sand paper to play a bottom 6 role. If he does no reason he shouldn’t become a nhl regular even if it’s not with the Canucks.

Although next in line after MacEwen and Bailey on the winger depth chart (per his invite to Vancouver for the pause/resume camp, although not included in the final bubble)

I watched all of the Utica games last year and Lind was their most improved player in Utica. I don’t agree with that assessment. He is good in all three zones, his best play was with the pros assigned to Utica - he plays the game their way. He was also excellent on the draw and by the end of the year was playing some time at centre. I wouldn’t be surprised to see his game expand again this year (when they finally get to play). I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Nucks find him a spot in Europe if he doesn’t make the Canucks. If we can’t sign Toffoli and move Virtanen, that does one a spot or two - MacEwen?, Bailey?, Lind? Jasek? 1 5

You're proving my point.

You're proving my point. He's turning 22 this month. He nearly tripled his AHL rookie season point total in his 2nd year (from 17 to 44) for just under 0.75 P/G while averaging 1PIM/G as an in your face agitator type of player. Not sure what your expectations are for him but I see a successful young player taking all the right steps towards being a full time NHL middle six forward within 1-2 years. Edit: This is Hoglander talk lol. The training staff is very high on him it seems, he definitely has an advantage because of how hard he works in the gym combined with his natural skill and intelligence. He's got a great leg up on this season and it looks like he's taking another step forward in the SHL. Would be interesting to potentially see him at training camp this year.
