Canucks are in a good but funny place there’s no room for anyone who is not a playoff type player with NHL size.

So McD does have the Size so he has a chance ,but  players like Lockwood have a slim chance to zero chance of becoming a Canuck. Lockwood where would he fit in really? 3rd line No 4th line No. Ottawa yes.....be nice if Lockwood signed and played a season in Utica then traded to Ottawa in a year or two.

McD Canuck future 4th liner maybe...if he has the grit and can skate.

The spectre behind the curtain that makes NHL players out of prospects carries a dull sickle: injury.

Rumour suggests Lockwood may not be signing in Vcr but rather in Ottawa. I can't say with Madden, Hogelander, maybe Lind all apparently ahead of him, I blame the guy

What's the source for the rumour?

After getting scratched in Northeastern's first three games then going pointless in his first four games, McDonough has come on strong with 9 points in his last 6 games.  Nice stats for a freshman, even though he took a year after high school to play in the USHL.  He said he was a late bloomer who was 5'8", 150lb as a high school sophomore and it took time to adjust to his new size.  Could be a real diamond in the rough.

Two assists and a goal tonight:

Gotta hand it to Brackett and Benning they sure find some gems in the USHL...

The info below came from hfcanuck yesterday:

"4 points today, he's now one of only 6 freshmen in the NCAA scoring a point per game or higher this year, a list that includes first round picks Cole Caufield and Trevor Zegras."

Plus he got NHL size

i would love Canucks to have Caufield or Zegras, it’s great our McD kid is keeping up.

The thing with McDonough is that he could be riding the hot hand of Madden and may not be as great as his stats indicate. If so, that just makes Madden that much better. So it's either that or we have a hidden gem in Aidan. Only positive news for a couple of later round picks by Benning and crew.
