Is it possible to give him a UFA offer if you're the same team that released him as RFA?

I'd love to see him on a show me 1 year deal @ 2 million

Yes. This is exactly what happened with Pouliot last year...

Yep, happens regularly.

2 minutes to go before the deadline and no news.

Hutton is not worth 4+.

Assuming that you have:

Tanev, Edler, Stecher, Hughes, possibly Schenn and a UFA, Hutton is your #7.  I'd far rather have that be Saunter or Biega until OJ is ready to go.

This is a pretty easy choice in my mind.

Just now, MattJVD said:

Now that he's a UFA, do the Canucks still have exclusive negociating rights until July 1st? (Like their regular UFAs) Or can any team sign him between now and July 1st?

Do we have a report that he is. UFA yet,  no last minute signing or trading

Starting tomorrow any team can talk with the former RFAs but they can’t sign until July 1

Am I the only one who thinks Ray Ferraro is actually a bit of a moron ?

He knows aspects of the game very well, particularly from an ex-player perspective. He'd be a Mike Milbury level manager based on some of his comments re: management though.

And if you're to believe @stawns, he's also a douchenozzle of epic proportions

So I'm guessing as per speculation Hutton and Granlund are UFAs now (I believe Gaunce and Pouliot were already confirmed to not be receiving QOs after the end of the season?) but Boeser, Leivo, Goldobin, Teves, Rafferty, Motte and Boucher were all qualified?  I think Perron and Kero were also RFAs right?

RFAs

Teves - will be re-signed (Utica)

Boeser - will be re-signed

Leivo - will be re-signed

Boucher - bye

Hutton - bye

Brisebois - will be re-signed (Utica)

Granlund - bye

Motte - will be re-signed (Utica)

Goldobin - will be re-signed

Any chance another team offer sheets Boeser?

Perron is RFA if they qualified him.

Kero and McEneny are UFAs.

We have cap to match anyone.  Would be a dumb and self-discrediting move.

True, offer sheets don't really happen anymore, but what if another team offers Boeser $9 x 7? I'm not sure the Canucks match that.
