Popular Post JimLahey
Vegas Golden Knights Getting back in to the fantasy hockey realm and I have a ton of work to do on this roster! We have some great pieces for the future and our 2019 & 2020 draft picks will all play a big role in that future, but we need to ice a complete roster at some point I guess. 2020 Draft Recap Pick 2 - Tim Stutzle Pick 35 - Ridly Greig Pick 41 - Thomas Bourdeleau Pick 61 - Carter Savoie Pick 63 - Michael Benning Pick 65 - Daemon Hunt We lost out on our eventual 1st overall pick last year so adding Stutzle adds gives us that superstar prospect that was missing from our prospect pool. We traded some of our later picks to trade up for a crop of prospects in the first 3 rounds we feel have a lot of potential for us in the future. I won't embarrass myself with posting an NHL roster, or bore anyone with my prospect pool that I am very happy with and just state what the needs are... We require NHL players to fill a roster. I have cap space and am willing to take on some salary for a price. All players except Girard are available for trade - we are interested in prospect swaps We'll need to be active in free agency because I can't be icing 4 NHL players or whatever I actually have I am on Discord so feel free to reach out there too. 1

thejazz97
FA Frenzy With October 9 approaching, here are some basic guidelines that we'll be using to navigate the free agent season: Unsigned UFAs will be removed from rosters no later than October 9th in the morning. They may be removed without warning before then. As RFAs are automatically qualified, they will not be removed off rosters at this time. Any offers without a plan in the organization will be disregarded. Usually, if a player doesn't receive a vision for how they fit onto the team, they will wait to consider the offer until a team sends one. The Commissioner Team encourages teams to send organizational plans with their offers regardless of the time of year, but for the month of October, any offers to UFAs without a pitch will not be considered. You can offer the max contract of 5 years, $15.6m, but without a pitch, it won't be considered. There is a process for signing FAs this year (again). The process has been detailed below, and aims to curb arms races over players. Hopefully, we don't end up with a $2.5m Adam Cracknell again When signing RFAs, as per usual, giving compensation to the player's former team will be required. If the team that owns the rights to an RFA declines to match an offer, they will receive a payment from the signing team, as outlined below. Any draft picks transferred do not have to be ones designated to the signing team, but will have to be held by the signing team at the time the contract is signed. There will not be a period of time where the players and teams can "talk". You may send in an offer before October 9, but it will not be considered before then. Enquiries as to what players might sign for will not be considered by UFAs during the first week of FA frenzy, but will be afterwards. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Offer Evaluation Process: Spoiler Round 1 - Best group of offers / offers within a reasonable range Round 2 - Best second offer (if necessary) Round 3 - Commissioners decide (if Round 2 results in a tie) RFA Compensation Schedule: Spoiler $1,395,053 or below: None $1,395,054-$2,113,716: 3rd $2,113,717-$4,227,437: 2nd $4,227,438-$6,341,152: 1st, 3rd $6,341,153-$8,454,871: 1st, 2nd, 3rd $8,454,872-$10,568,589: 2 1sts , 2nd, 3rd Over $10,568,590: 4 1sts Edited October 6, 2020 by thejazz97

Rush17
STL Draft Recap: 5th Overall - Lucas Raymond (4 Overall to DET +1) 9th Overall - Yarolsav Askarov (11th Overall to NSH -2) 11th Overall - Jack Quinn (8th Overall to BUF +3) 25th Overall - Hendrix Lapierre (22nd Overall to WSH +3) 72nd Overall - Theodor Niederbach (51st Overall to DET + 21) 73rd Overall - Thimo Nickl (104th Overall to ANA -31) 103rd Overall - Artur Akhtyamov (106th Overall to TOR -3) 108th Overall - Linus Karlsson [Drafted in 2018] Very happy with our draft class overall. Definitely added some high end guys at the top of the draft. Loved our mid to late adds in Neiderbach, Nickl, Artur and Linus. We definitely did a lot of work this off-season and are excited for what lies ahead! STL is still actively looking for a younger top 6 C and am willing to pay a reasonable rate for one. Our only really big faller this draft was Thimo but we believe his skill will show our selection be about right one day in the future. Happy drafting folks! :D

Rush17
STL's Goalie Prospect Depth Chart Yarolsav Askarov (11th Overall, 2020 Draft) Michael DiPietro (64th Overall, 2017 Draft) Kaapo Kahkonen (109th Overall, 2014 Draft) Artur Akhtyamov (106th Overall, 2020 Draft) Listed in order of quality. Kaapo is likely going to start in the NHL with the wild this season as a 1B. DiPietro is a year or so out yet. Askarov is definitely the cream of the crop though. Artur we had rated as the a top 3 goalie in the class. We felt skill wise he could be the #2 tender 2020. Very happy to see him get selected after he wasn't even on any major publications draft rankings list. If you need a tender - we may be your best option for high quality but please note prices will reflect the quality available. with that said tho, I may like something on your roster you may undervalue! Don't hesitate to reach out. We continue to look for a top 6 C with potential first line upside. Edited October 8, 2020 by Rush17
