Boston is really happy to inject some much needed forward talent into our prospect pool! We have a powerful squad. And feel set for a long time in goal, on D! But will have some vet forward contracts expiring next year. Had not enough in the forward tank? We feel we landed one, maybe two 1st round talent equivalent players here. Plus added 1st rounder Yegor Chinakhov in the draft. Welcome aboard gents! After spending wildly (stupidly?) at the deadline? We feel back to our conservative team construction style as a management group. Super happy with our off season so far!

Popular Post apollo
Cory Schneider on what it feels like to ink a new 2 year deal with the Nanaimo Predators "I'm very excited to spend the next two years here in Nanaimo... I love the province and having played here before its a very easy transition for my family. Tbh I prefer Nanaimo, less hustle and bustle and smaller city vibes. I feel like I can focus on the mental side of my game best here. I must say I'm absolutely in love with our jerseys as well. As everyone knows there's goats on the roof in Nanaimo... And we've incorporated it with the iconic orcas that roam our region" 1 6
AJay
The CDC Puck League on what it feels like knowing Corey Schneider is with the Nanaimo Predators "We're thrilled knowing that Corey is going to be on an opponent's roster for the next 2 years. Watching Nashville's GAA and SV% blow up and fail to pick up wins will be great for our chances to beat them in any H2H matchup. This is also good news for the league as we could all use a little help in moving up the standings. Obviously it's unfortunate that we'll all likely move down a bit in the draft since we won't be getting the opportunity to draft as high as Nashville will due to their goaltending but you take the small victories where you can." 3

Considering that we never won a lottery or picked higher than 8th, I am proud of the direction it is moving. For once we will be icing a full roster, with lines that resemble an NHL team, full of (mostly quite young) players that I find interesting. We have a great duo in net, a killer first line, Jack Hughes waiting for a breakout, buckets of recent 1sts waiting in the wings, and a still a couple 1sts in the upcoming draft. The roster still holds a snowball's chance in hell against some of the absolute juggernauts in this league, but I would feel comfortable icing it IRL and would be excited to cheer for it's future. I think he is a really under rated defenseman in Boston's top 4 last year, and was happy to see him signed IRL for 4 x 3.7M. He has never put up fantasy numbers in line with his real on ice value, but looks like Boston plans to have him take over Krug's spot on PP1, as well as top pairing minutes. I am hopeful that the increased minutes and opportunity will result in a solid uptick in fppg.
