David is a respected veteran who’s done it all and still capable of putting up productive numbers. The Maple Leafs are looking to make 1 more big move before draft day. As a new GM of the Leafs we are looking towards the future. We are looking to load up on picks and prospects to help speed up the rebuild. Phones are open. We are expecting a huge return, and will not be looking to take just a fair deal. We feel like the team that gets him massively increases their odds at a cup over the next 2 seasons, so we feel we should be able to pull in a massive haul of picks/prospects from a contender. 100+ point player that's on a contender at under $7m per year should be very enticing for anybody, especially a true contender If you have or can acquire a top 10 pick in this draft that would definitely help your odds at getting our interest 2 weeks until draft day! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
