Aho is probably Pettersson's closest comparable (and arguably a more complete player) and he signed at $8.45m x 5 years (via predatory offer sheet no less). Stand to reason we should be able to sign Pettersson, for only a three year bridge, post covid, with a less complete game (and ideally, no offer sheet) for $7m or under.
