It’s just meant to put the squeeze on a team that doesn’t have a lot of cash to spend. Even if they match, the Canes will be hard pressed to do much else either now or during the season. Just glad someone had the balls to offer sheet someone and hope someone does it to marner now but for at least 10.5m.
