With all the signing/trading so far, I definitely think Canucks is a playoff team.

Adding two top 6 bruising wingers, two defencemen, will bring us 50+ goals and 70+ assists minimal.

If we stay healthy, we should make the playoffs.  A good mix of vets and youth.  Imo, goaltending is still a long term issue but Markstrom is fine to hold the fort down.  I am still not quite sold on Thatcher Demko but I want to believe in the kid.  One of the biggest x factors on defense will obviously be Hughes.  There's a lot of pressure on him to perform but if he lives up to his expectations, our defensive unit will be solid.  

 

Exciting season ahead of us.  It has been a minute.

Arizona's got a better chance than a number on that list.

 

I think Vancouver has a solid shot at 2nd or 3rd in the Pacific this year.  Gotta beat out Arizona and Vegas for it (possibly SJ, but they lost key pieces without much to replace em).  LA isn't in the mix.

I can see leaving ANA, LA & MIN off the list, but where's ARI?

 

Hard to say how SJ, DAL, & WPG will do, but I think CGY & VGK are locks in the Pacific, NAS, STL & COL in the central.. 

 

At this point, I think ARI should be fighting with CHI, VAN and maybe even EDM (long shot), with one of them maybe bumping one of the 8 from this last season.. 

 

which I admit is pretty vague & non - committal, but my point is ARI should be in the poll..
