Both Miller and Ferland bring the grits and can provide secondary offence - both things that Jake absolutely must bring into his game if he wants an NHL career.
Hopefully those 2 guys lead the way and Jake has a breakout year.
I think after what happened at the World Juniors and then that huge hit on Polak he got suspended for, he was talked to by the team and told "get your head straight" and I think maybe he's had some trouble with that because being physical was a huge part of his game, and it seems he's still figuring out where the line is.
With Ferland and Miller around him now, I think that line will become a lot clearer to him.
