My favourite Dral role was probably the "sheriff" that killed any villagers they investigated. Otherwise got the role and of course used it to immediately kill me.

Whoa, it just dawned on me that mafia is essentially the social aspect of poker that I miss about playing the game.

Online poker is so reactionary and neglects the social tells and conversational obligation of actually sitting at the table. Just odds and luck online, the psychological aspect of it is lost in code.

 

Mafia is that social obligation that online poker lacks and the only wager is your read, or ego.

 

At least that's what I'm thinking now.
