Monty
Made sense for Tampa. He’s an RFA and was due for a slight pay raise. However, even if he comes in around $1M-$1.25M, that’s still more than what they can afford, what with Point still needing to be extended. Also, they can likely see the production Erne brought be replicated by Barre-Boulet or Volkov, who are slightly cheaper at ($759k and $864k). Every little bit helps them.
Popular Post PhillipBlunt
Too bad Todd Bertuzzi wasn't still a Wing. Having him on the same line as Erne would have been epic. Edited August 14, 2019 by PhillipBlunt 1 2

All I know about him is he hit Drouin with a cheapshot in Junior the year after they were both drafted by Tampa. Well that and in NHL 17 he got to about 87 overall in quite a few of my Be a GM playthroughs. Guy isn't afraid to throw his weight around. Him and Bertuzzi will get along nicely I imagine. Not on the same line but just having both on the team might cause headaches for opponents. Erne is a 4th liner at best right now.

Erik GODbrandson
Adam Erne, the stud in NHL 14 who would become a beast two way player. The guy won himself a selke trophy when I GM'd the Canucks to 3 straight division titles. Now imagine that, netting yourself a selke winnter for just a 4th. Absolute robbery.

Cheaper and less celebrated Virtanen that isn’t afraid to hit on a regular basis.
