But I don't think Winnipeg as whole cares much for him, is the general sentiment I've gathered. They have too many big contracts to deal with. And I don't like their math going forward. Considering talks are as he said “non-existent” my take is Laine’s initial ask was way too high - and that WNP is likely looking to trade him to bolster their ravaged defense.
