Sutter was next up for the drill and gave him a gentle push to help him glide out if the battle zone area. Juolevi has fallen a few times now and was a touch slow to get up on that last one. Could be conditioning or the knee hard to say. He looked pretty tired after the drill. From here it looked like he was smiling and laughing as he got up from that drill. Maybe he's not labouring but just taking it easy on that knee as there is still lots of hockey ahead of him. No sense reinjuring it. 1 3 1

A partial season for sure. Maybe he becomes the first D call up by Christmas. He did really well in Utica last season.

People need to realize that he can still bring a dimension to the team that other teams don’t have. We need to set our expectations that Jake is a third liner on this team that can bring a cannon of a shot, hit like a truck and skate faster than most. We have the top 6 depth we need for the next 4 years and even more when Pods and Hogs join in 1-2. Just settle in with Jake as a unique talent on the third line and enjoy that we have more depth than I’ve ever seen on this team. I like that Virtanen is trending to be a great third liner. Teams don't win in the playoffs without them Soft perimeter top 6 player who disappears in the playoffs < Virtanen 5
Rush17
Let's hope these teams are better balanced. Pearson with Bo and Miller please.

I'd assume those stops and starts in those battle drills are pretty hard on the knees, especially since he hasn't done such intensive workouts since his surgery. Going to need a fair bit of time to adjust to the conditioning and rehabbing that knee so its used to such impact.7 Falling on it is going to take time to get used to and feel secure about it. 1

Meant to quote the dude you were quoting, but pulled it out of your post instead of scrolling back to his post. I'm not too bright sometimes. goalie13
I gotta say, this is so cool. I haven't been to a training camp since the Canucks were here in the early nineties. I hope they keep moving it around the province so it comes back here every few years. 1

Sportsnet doesn’t want to tvbroadcast and doesn’t want attention draw from their radio coverage. You know, I have noticed a down turn in videos and features on the website over the last year. I wonder if it's part of a marketing strategy? If people have access to watching stuff online, they won't be as eager to go? For awhile, they had to generate some hype as things were floundering around in nowheresville. But now, with the exciting prospects, people are stoked about the team - so maybe they prefer to keep them hungry? Give tidbits instead of the whole meal deal? Just brainstorming. That's always dangerous with me. 1

goalie13
I know people are excited, but I hope they stop wandering around during the scrimmage. There's been a parade of people going up and down the stairs the whole time.

I was offered tickets to tomorrow night's game but declined as it's my team's first game of the season at the same time. So this was my one chance to experience this.
