BrockBoester
For reference, in an article from NHL.com about Elias Pettersson yesterday, the following quote seems to have unearthed a bit of dissent. Quote In preparation for his second NHL season, Pettersson bulked up during the summer but still looks fragile at 6-foot-4 and 175 pounds. In his mind, though, he's not worried, so why should others? So I'd like to ask the wonderful and intelligent posters of CDC to "weigh in" so to speak! Do you think Petey is actually 6'4? Vote above! Three days till pre-season puck drops! 6of1_halfdozenofother
How tall is Markstrom? Did Pettersson look to be about the same height when they walked over to the press con yesterday? Q.E.M-F.D. RRypien37
Most heights in professional sports are inflated. Some SIGNIFICANTLY. Also, not sure where you are getting this 6'4" for EP from. Edited September 13, 2019 by RRypien37

Popular Post 6string
Well most of us have agreed Trymakin is 11 ft. tall, but won't be captain until he can string three consecutive sentences in english. 3

Popular Post joe-max
As long as EP is under 200lbs, he will never play in the NHL. 1 2

If height and weight is all that matters, I'm happy to offer a couple of inches of height and about 80 lbs of weight to any Canucks player who wants it... 1

SabreFan1
In 2018 he was listed as 6' 2" - 175 lbs. At the combine in 2017 he was 6' 1.75" - 165 lbs. If he put on more muscle like most young NHL guys do if they're smart, he'll still be 6' 2" but will weigh between 180-185 lbs. 1
HerrDrFunk
I’m really thinking the 6’4” was a mistake by the writer of that story; not an attempt to pad Petey’s stats.
Whaleroad Train
I think his increased height is due to coming to Canada and becoming an Imperial sized Pettersson, instead of an metric sized Pettersson. 1
Oregon.Duck
I’ve heard that they list their height on skates. I can believe that Petey is 6’4 on skates. I buy it. 6’2-6’3 flat footed. Not a conspiracy I think.
