JB made the right choice And good luck to Ben and Benn Two Ns are better than one.
*Buzzsaw*
Sorry that Ben wouldn't compromise and sign for less in Van... would have preferred him to Biega as a 7/8. I think he still has a good chance to stick in the NHL, especially since he signed in LA... which is likely to be in the league doghouse.

Spitfire_Spiky
Good luck Ben!!! Always had a smile on his face just no room for him here. Wish him the best in LA and can't wait to see him try and fail to defend Petey when the Nucks are in town.
Ralph.
Good kid, deserves a shot somewhere to stay in the league. I think LA will suite him well. Hopefully he does well, but as usual, just not against us. He'll just be a funny dude on my instagram now.
Chickenspear
Good luck Hutty (except when you play us), thanks for all the hard work while you were here. Hope you have a great career.
JM_
Ben's a good kid. A victim of that one promising year but on the other hand being overpaid for 2 years isn't the worst thing that could happen to him. Glad he's got a good landing spot tho.

I am also hoping he is one of the last examples of poor player development. He came onto the roster with almost zero AHL exposure. Canucks were desperate for blueline help and Hutton was rushed into the NHL. His early success set expectations way to high and continued injuries forced way to much TOI on him. His history with the Canucks was much like Mason Raymond. Hutton does have some ability and I hope he can stick in the NHL.

JeremyCuddles
Good luck Smilin’ Ben Hutton. Can’t wait for the media to write articles saying “why not keep Hutton at 1.5 instead of going after Benn for 2. Benning is lost”
Dr. Crossbar
Glad to see Hutton get another shot. He's just heading into that period of his life at 26 where the next level of maturity kicks with more focus and seriousness. Imo, he'll be organically approaching the game more as a man than the smiley kid that we saw. That should only help his game at this point. I wish him all the best!

LowerMainLander18
Nothing but respect to Hutton. He made something out of nothing here in Vancouver which got him to where he is in LA.

RakuRaku
Happy for him! He's definitely a NHL calibre d-man, albeit in 3rd paring. Always positive and professional with us! All the best!
