Mostly radio silence as far as his future goes. However, his kids are in school and he’s around the city. So he’s living here, which is of no surprise, because he loves the area (grew up a few hours away).

 

However, he hasn’t been skating at all. So I’m thinking, if he does come back, it won’t be for a number of months.

Would there be a better play-off add at the TDL than Big Buff coming back to his team?  That would be a huge boost to the Jets.  I know all guys get old, and retire, but some of the players (like Buff) are missed by fans all over the league.  Glad to hear he's settled in Winnipeg.

If Buff came back, that’s the best deadline acquisition on the backend they could get. He’s a playoff performer, and he’s free. Adding anything else would cost a roster player, which is not something that’s in their best interest, IMO.
