Kole Lind popped off; Hoglander must have popped someone; Jett Woo with some early-season struggles; Tryamkin regressing from last season... which was already a regression from the season before. Petrus Palmu is going to make bloggers scream about asset management again. Really appreciate you doing this...…. Keep in mind, stats do not show quality of opponent, nor deployment so you do not know if they are being put into a position to score points (referring to Tryamkin) nor what their +/- actually implies, or why it is what it is

Canuck57
I'm still confused with Vasily Podkolzin's KHL contract. All we heard when he was drafted by Vancouver in 2019 was that he was going to honor the last 2 seasons of his KHL contract. However, the 2018-2019 season wasn't over yet at that time, and we know that he was already signed by the KHL when Vancouver selected him. Are they counting the 2018-2019 season as year-1 of Podkolzin's KHL contract? If so that would mean that he would be ready to suit up in Vancouver at the beginning of the 2020-2021 season. So when, exactly, does Podkolzin's KHL contract expire? Edited October 13, 2019 by Canuck57

Overall, he's better playing in the KHL until then as he'll face a higher degree of competition than he would in Junior over here anyway. He'll be more NHL ready when he's finished his contract there.

Isn't Podz following the same path as Kusnetsov and other top Russian guys in the NHL?

Down by the River
OP updated with stats through last night's games. Tough week for the non-pro goalies. Great week for Demko and DiPietro. Focht remains hot while Woo hasn't found his offensive form from last year. Teves is an insane +12 through 5 games.... yet somehow has only picked up one point.
Down by the River
For those wondering, I'll start updating Podkolzin's stats in the VHL/MHL/wherever he seems to be playing most regularly.
StanleyCupOneDay
So um is there a typo for Thiessen? Or can someone explain what happened in order for a goalie to have a 25.59 GAA from 1 game? I don’t think I’ve even ever seen double digits before. That number is crazy.

Down by the River
OP updated with stats through Saturday night's game. Focht continues to be a goal-machine... but an over-ager so expectations should be tempered. Quinn Hughes going to be a favorite for the Calder, especially now that he has solidified himself on PP1. Mikey DiPietro's first professional start was a nightmare in Vancouver. Since then, he's been great for Utica. Backstopped the Comets to a 2-1 shootout victory. The Comets remain undefeated. Looks like Gaudette was recalled basically immediately after being sent down (Motte injured).

86Viking
Just a question by why is EP40 on the prospects stat tracker. He is an NHL regular now. Also, why has Rathbone not played any games this year, he hurt?
