Kosmo Kramer
Wow the odds of his red wing debut being here in Vancouver is crazy. That must be special for him. See all the boys one more time and go head to head. Pretty cool 1
Popular Post WeneedLumme
A classy move by JB, doing the right thing for one of the ultimate team players. Bulldog would sit in the pressbox without complaint for weeks at a time, working his butt off in practice, just waiting for his chance to play. And when he got his chance, he would leave it all on the ice, not holding anything back. Anybody complaining about this move because we are giving up number 10 or so on our D depth chart to show loyalty and appreciation for the efforts of an aging warrior who we no longer need, is showing their lack of class. 1 1
oldnews
Would be nice to see 'rogers' arena really give it up for Biega in his return. 1
MikeyD
I wish he went to Edmonton so I could see him more. So many teams were clearly ignorant to what he brings to a team. Should be a top 5 defenseman in the NHL in my opinion on most teams. Edmonton passed on him AND Baertschi, unbelievable.

I guess the Canucks fit this bill as we waived both guys. I love Biega, but he's a far cry from being a top 5 dman on any legitimate team. He's the perfect 7 and that's about it. Unless you have a top 4 like Nashville does then maybe he's a good cheap bottom pairing guy. We have seen many times that he's raring to go when the opportunity arises, but when he's in for a longer duration he fizzles out likely due to the high energy style he plays.
