Yah the Sedins were good, sorry great but they just didn't do it for me, they were great players in a soft time. My close seconds to Bure would be Linden, Burrows, Bertuzzi, Kesler, Smyl, Nasland, Odjick, and Tiger, sadly  they’re heart is something you just don’t see anymore in the NHL..

I am with you I liked the "heart and soul" guys on the team. There is no one even close to Bure he is the obvious #1.

I liked the a couple of guys for each era. Liked Brodeur  and Tanti then Bure and Linden, Bert , then Kess/Burrows and I am really liking Bo and Peteys games so far.

Someone, I probably would not put on the list, but I enjoyed watching was

…………………...drum role...……………………………..

Sergio Momesso………………...look at those penalty minutes, even in Europe...……….a very excitable guy!

I loved McLean as a kid. I was 10 during the cup run in 94 and was just starting to play goalie in hockey.

When I saw him come out of the tunnel it damn near brought tears to my eyes. He was inspiration and had a great style to watch, the last of the stand up goalies.

Honorable mention is Horvat. His energy and work ethic is incredible. He is a winner but most importantly a team player who is all class.

Really tough to choose. I can't really say I have just one, but here are a few of my faves (started watching around 2002, so Canucks from before that time will obviously not be making the list).

- Naslund

- Bertuzzi

- Ruutu (Odd choice, be he was absolutely hilarious)

- The Sedins (kinda have to include them as a package)

- Luongo

- Burrows

- Bieksa

- Horvat

- Boeser

- Pettersson

- Hughes

A lot of people are probably voting for Bure, but I'd go with Todd Bertuzzi. Bert can give you the flash and dash with his puck handling, the guy would just play with the puck on the ice as if he's just skating on his own on a pond or use his brute strength to get in the front of the net. For me, what seperated him from Pavel was, yes both gave you the oohs and ahhhs ( Pavel of course did it more) but Bert got you really emotionally invested in the game, got every one who watched adrenalin through the roof. Hockey wasn't just about the goals, its about the hits and physicality, and when you see our boy just absolutely BLASTING guys through the boards that we hated that were on the other team ie: Barrett Jackman, Chris Chelios, thats what Bert did that got us excited. Up to now there hasn't really been another Todd Bertuzzi, a player that had snarl and a nasty temper and yet have hands of silk to put pucks through d-men and made it look easy

Momesso and Sandlak were the original "Bash Brothers". They were the first players, for me , to show how fun it was to drive the opposing players into the boards with vigor. ::D
