N7Nucks
Figured he had little to no value. Good trade for Detroit. Got Biega and Perlini for peanuts. Biega good serviceable guy, Perlini is essentially their Goldy. Except they have room to experiment whereas our roster is actually good.
#Canucks
No matter where Detroit is today. I have full faith in Yzerman after what he did in Tampa. Good deal, little risk for Detroit.
Jaku
I like Alec Regula. His upside is a good top 4 d-man. Good trade for both sides.

Good call @Jaku Perlini is what he is. Regula is four years younger and still can become more than he is now.

I like him too, think he is more in the vain of Guillaume Brisebois. Both 3rd rounders, similar CHL numbers in their draft years. I like Regula's size though and the fact he is a righty. Good deal for both sides. Chicago's already really good D prospect pool got a nice little boost. Detroit needs help up front. Not sure Perlini really pans out but who knows. Detroit might be able to work their magic on him. Edit: Regula might have more offensive upside though. Looking at just the stats. The thing Breezer has in spades though is character. Will need to read up on Regula more though. Might be a bit more of an asset than I initially thought. Was on pace for 21 goals in his 1st year as a 20 year old. Second year had 17 in 74. Last year once joining the Hawks was on pace for 21 again despite very slow start. He is also 6'3" and 211 pounds. Way more value. Chicago just has great depth in the top 6. He was traded for a large promising defender who is on a PPG pace currently in junior. Meanwhile, Goldobin cleared waivers. I see no similarities.

Well career wise Perlini has 72pts/200gp (0.36) while goldobin has 46pts/124gp (0.37) They were picked in the same year. Goldy more of a playmaker than shooter. Neither has played a full season in the nhl. Last year Perlini was on pace for 25pts, whereas Goldobin was on pace for 35pts. Sure, perlini is bigger but he's not really that physical. (51 hits in 68 games last year) Thats about the same amount as Adam Gaudette. Neither take a lot of penalties, both are minus players I'd say theyre pretty comparable. CBH1926
First Caggiula and now Regula, I see a pattern here.

The two seemed to work well together in juniors, maybe that chemistry can carry on at the next levels too.
