Puck was too far out with 3 Blues players skating towards it. 

 

They would have got an empty net goal if he came out.

We probably deserved a better fate in that one. But we managed to squeeze out a point against the Champs, so not too bad.

 

What a crap end though. Felt bad for Marky, literally nothing he could do.

Great game by our boys again! 1 point at least is good. Out playing every team, even the champs. Just keep pushing, boys!

Glad we got a point. Irritated at Myers for taking out our own guy. Marky had a very low chance of stopping a 3-0. Life goes on. We kept it close with one of the best teams.

Canucks' deserved a better fate than that, but sometimes it doesn't shake out in our favor.

 

Blues got the extra point but we gave them all they could handle.

Myers' decision was awful, but Markstrom had a clear opportunity negate Myers' error and play a puck that was not far from him at all. A goalie has other responsibilities other than to make saves. 

 

He's made decisions in two overtimes that have both turned out to be the wrong decision. I was stating that it was disappointing to see despite him being solid all around.

Virtanen looked great tonight,  Hughes was his superb self.

Great job to get a point. OT was entertaining, and maybe I was still happy that we tied it up to force OT, but I found the end pretty funny, seeing Myers steamroll another Canuck causing a 3-on-0.

The game was not lost by Marky. He made some spectacular saves to keep us in it. That play however, was 1. due to Myers being way too aggressive as the last man back, and 2. due to Marky not coming out of his crease even after the Blue threw a puck way too hard down the ice

Just can't agree with you here. There's a pretty solid consensus that the puck was too far for Marky.

First place was on the line.  I loved Markstrom’s passion there - we have a lot of even keel personalities, I think his temper is a key element with this group.

I'll be honest, I laughed a bit.

 

It's one game of 82. Mistakes happen. The more important thing is that Canucks are continuing to play well and dictate the pace of the game.

Ill take the point and not losing in regulation look at the positives we tied it with less than 10mins left in the game it couldve easily went 1-0

The game was a good experience - everyone gets a taste of the playoffs where the rulebook is thrown away and it's clutch and grab 24/7. Happy to get a point and no injuries.
