Some of the details include:

-- A patch in the shape of the state of Texas embroidered in heather-gray felt on the left sleeve stripe to pay homage to the Stars' home state.

-- The crest is inspired by historical hockey uniforms from Texas and features the word "STARS" superimposed upon the letter "D."

-- The "A" in "STARS" takes the shape of a star as a reference to the Texas state flag.

-- The interior collar features a design inspired by the Texas state flag.

-- The jersey's yoke construction has been narrowed marking a first for the ADIZERO hockey jersey.

I actually kinda like it. 9/10 people seem to hate every new jersey upon release, then it grows on some. Remember when the Canucks announced their alternates for this season? The hate was abundant (myself included). I've grown to like them quite a bit now (though I still hate the "updated" S-I-R crest). Though it would've been cooler if they threw in a subtle North Stars reference somewhere. A shoulder patch maybe.

The North Stars moved to Dallas but they are so strongly linked to the hockey history in Minnesota.   The Wild have honoured them on several occasions.  The Wild's logo even has the animal's eye as a star in tribute to the North Stars.
