Popular Post coryberg
0-4-1 this season with a 4.44 GAA and .879 SV% Poor Toronto spent all their money on the big 4 and can't afford a backup goalie, 4th line or even a player in the press box. 4

Drive-By Body Pierce
Maybe Dubas will back up Andersen?

rekker
At what point do they start pointing fingers at Dubas. He's built a world class shinny hockey team and put a very good goalie like Mcilhaney on waivers.
6string
Trade Nylander, 15 points in 19 games. There may be a sucker that can fetch a backup and a dman.

Nuxfanabroad
Prob Dubas worried that Hutch was eyeing his position..another Snow-job
Industrious1
I watched a lot of those back to back games and Hutch didn't really get a fair shake. Team was awful most of those second games and Babcock's coaching method for those matches didn't help either (backup gets the harder game).
Whaleroad Train
It's good that Toronto has identified the one player that is causing all the problems with their team. Waiving him guarantees them success, doesn't it?

Gilmore to take over from Dubass? Wouldn’t Dubass get to fire Babcock and see if another coach could make the team better first?

Yep, that's what they should have done last year... they won't get the same return this year if they pull the trigger on this trade.

If Dubas trades Nylander after publicly saying that he will not trade him, the players will lose all trust. You should never say things that can bite you in the ass.
