Popular Post Goal:thecup
That would be good. Graovac looked good in preseason; lots of skill and size. Also, I do not think Baer has shown that well. His speed is ok but he is mishandling passes and his shot is off. Sutter is probably out and Louie could go back to the press box (imo). The more this year's team looks like last year's, the less I like it. 1 1

It really hasn’t taken long for Tanev or Sutter to miss games.. and even for short term, it’s all acumaletive .. hope we can move both by Christmas. Baer seems to be playing tentatively,. Zack and Graovac, if this is a call up, will be solid alternatives for Green. 1

Popular Post NUCKER67
MacEwen - 6'4" 211 Graovac - 6'5" 210 That's what I like to see, Canucks have enough elite skill in Pettersson, Boeser, Miller, Horvat, and Hughes. Nice to see them bringing up guys with speed and size who can hammer opponents and wear them down. 1 3
Coconuts
That's some size, here's hoping they play well. This next stretch of games is huge considering the guys we're missing. Edited November 13, 2019 by Coconuts

The heavy game makes room for our skill guys. 1 5

One thing that irks me is the treatment of Petie on the ice. He has been getting tougher treatment of late. Even though I can see why teams need to do that, I would like a big guy like Mac to hit their forwards just as much or more.
Popular Post King Heffy
Nice callups. This should be the end of LE in the lineup. 1

I agree with you (but Miller at 6'1" 220 lbs and Horvat at 6' and 215 lbs have good size and skill themselves). Not having 'softies' on the roster (Ericksson, Goldie, Leipsic, etc.) is addition by subtraction as well. Coming soon: Motter and Rouss; later Tryamkin. Then we will have a team built for the playoffs.

Provost
Eriksson needs to not only be pushed out of the lineup, he should be demoted at this point. He has gotten more shots than anyone can reasonably expect... we should be calling up our depth guys to cover injuries and not him. Look at our record with him on the ice... suddenly we don’t get to push the pace with all our lines. Maybe he even retires, knowing he used up his last chance. 1

Ya, Petey is getting more attention but he often initiates the physical stuff. Not only does he do that but he is just as likely to come out on top. When this kid puts on another 20 pounds he is going to be a real force! 1

I thought we were pushing hard for the playoffs? Go Canucks go 1 2

I expect to se Big Mac suit up tho.
