189lb enforcers?
Should have been the V, but agree, they look great.
brilac
Yeah, it takes me back to '94! And makes me want to play my ol' skool music! After this game, I may go through my CDs and cassette tapes and put on some ol' skool music! 2
Tiger-Hearted
I still prefer the original 1970 Stick in Rink uniforms as the full-time look. However, if the '94 Skate uniforms became the primaries, I'm fully on board.
Dumb Nuck
Anything but the orca, we don’t deserve a cup with that jersey. 1 4
24K PureCool
Yeah, I think it looks great and sharp but at the same time it screams the 90s. The orca like it more not is modern and can become a timeless logo that a team needs for consistent marketing/identity.
6of1_halfdozenofother
The jersey ages well. Bring it back full-time. I don't even care if they go with the yellows as the away jerseys. The black jerseys are &^@#ing WICKED!!
LowerMainLander18
That was the kind of jersey that would make us look more intimidating on home ice. I would love to see it brought back as well.

They are Canada's 3rd oldest NHL franchise and are in the same class as teams like the Flyers, Blues, Sabres, Islanders and Oilers. Classic Stick in Rink as the primary and the Skate as the 3rd. 1
linden17
Hopefully next year we can see the white skate jerseys at home. The colours are so much more intimidating then the blue and green. Come on aquilinis.....instant money grab for you and the fans get what they want. 1 2
6string
I'm not an Orca fan but lives with it. If it's Blue n Green then the stick in the rink is my first choice. I love the 80's V and the 90's skate, the colour schemes are the best! 1
ruilin96
Are the Canucks wearing this jersey for anymore games this year or is this it?

The colours of the Flying Skate were purposefully chosen because they spoke of aggression and energy, the original and current colour schemes of blue and green are sedate and calming, which isn't indicative of what a team should be demonstrating for a high-energy, contact sport.

I just did a bit of searching, the Flying Skate will be back for the game against the Rangers in January. I don't know if there are any more games we get to see the Flying skate. I haven’t heard of that but that’s so awesome if that’s true. It’s one of my games in my 1/4 season package.
