38 year old sophomore Binnington getting LIT. UP. tonight.

He is really really good sometimes and then sometimes is like this. He allowed 7 goals against Boston in the finals one game and then literally stole game 7 to win the cup.

Also his record after a loss is pretty good.

This is not a dive? Ya he got punched but it wasn't as bad as he made it out to be.

All everyone is talking about is his dive.

I don't know man, that looks like it connects big time.  Don't see the dive at all, maybe a bit too much of flailing on the ground afterwards that but was a gloved punch out of nowhere.  I'd be surprised if Joe doesn't get at least fined.

I mean Mrazek swung his stick hoping to slash Joe's stick, he didn't swing his stick at Joe's head.

It's embarrassing that Marchand is Canadian, the guy is soo dirty. He's injured so many players.

That hit on Makar was clean though...

Watch it again, he basically elbows him in awkward spot. Also looks like he was aiming for the head. (You have to see it at different angles to see these though)

Watched it from all angles available. Clean hit.

Cale Makar looks really hurt. Hand the Calder to Quinn Hughes now.

Olofsson might take it if Makar is hurt long term. Easier position to play and be sheltered plus alongside Eichel. Quinn plays regular top 4 minutes, so harder to shelter him despite putting a smart d partner in Tanev with him, but none of that really matters in Calder voting.
