Won’t happen anyway. Schaller, Eriksson, and McEwan will all be sat before JV. Heck, even Leivo. I don’t see Green making that decision. My two cents anyway...

Only way I see how JV could be left out is his potential injury.

He was game time decision last game so maybe something is going on..

What many don’t realize is this was actually done again by the Oilers

the Oilers utilized  a number 1 overall pick on a player that didn’t exist .....

yakupov

I'll bet you'll still find closet Yakupov fans on CDC if they suddenly felt the need to be honest.

Good luck, @SabreFan1.

Thanks.  Good luck will be both teams escaping without injuries.  Being a fan of both teams, I'm more happy when everyone finishes healthy than I am with either team winning.

Now the other 29 teams, I don't give a rat's patootie whether their stars twist an ankle or take a hard check into the boards when the Sabres or Canucks play them.

I agree. Jake should be the last to sit out of that group. He’s played great this year and he’s still getting better.

Green had said that Jake wasn’t feeling well prior to last game, but since he played and there was a 3 day break between games he’s probably good to go.

not sure

but it seems some posters

are having trouble with roster issues

and might feel relieved if a nuck player

ends up on the injury roster again

I honestly can't remember ever hoping a Sabre or Canuck player gets injured no matter how bad they were/are.

I've hoped that coaches keep already injured players out extra time if their replacement is better but that's about as far as I'll go.
