Cheers bro... definitely...

The team always easier to sing / shout, when the team is on a roll, but tonight the team could really have been done with the fans showing their support...

Maybe mindset as you say, but at 1-0 and in particular 2-1 they could have been done with the support.

Would have though hearing the Leafs fans shout, would be enough to get the  Nux fans out of their chairs and counter...a la" this is our building, this is our home"...

Most Canuck fans seems to had sold there tickets to the Laff fans for a profit - I hope

There really weren't many tough saves Anderson had to make. Pretty much one shot and done, from 50ft+ away. Other than the missed breakaways we didn't have much of dangerous scoring chances.

The only goal we scored was the greasy one at the goalmouth. Nobody really crashed the net or became a thorn in the crease. You don't always try to hit top shelf of the net with a pretty shot to score. You only need to get the puck cross the goal line, and the best way to make that happen is wrecking havoc in front of the goalie.

Unfortunately we're still lacking players in that department, so our scoring suffers when we don't get enough PP chances like tonight.

Worst part of the game was listening to the Leafs Chants.... That really sucked... Whats with the home crowd? Can't they out shout the leaf fans or can't they be bothered? Disappointing....

our crowd has gotten soft af.

no more insert team name here ___ suck chants

no more taunting players

no more drowning other the oppositions fans..

like i said before, back in the early to mid 2000s you wouldn't hear from these Laff fans all game they'd be drowned out. Now you even hear those Oiler fans in the building as well these days!

disappointed by the team and fans tonight.

Green &^@#ing sucked as well. turned on the blender, had no physical game plan to play against a soft ass team like the Leaves...

Ferland was the only one trying to make it difficult for the Laffs forwards and he got injured. :picard:

LE SIGHS.

Only way for them to realize, the deficiencies is to keep losing because of it...

Its so frustrating, you can see it clearly time & time again. I know its a young team but when you have guys like Schaller, Eriksson, Benn, exc. (some of the veterans) doing it then its hard to just blame inexperience.

I've been harping on it for awhile now & I'm going to keep doing it because its a real problem that has cost us points.

We are pretty good at turning pucks over now in the offensive zone with guys like Leivo, Pearson, Miller, Horvat, Boeser, Roussel, exc. but we need that same mindset of attack defensively. You just can't allow elite players the extra opportunity.

This sit back defensive strategy is why we are currently outside the playoffs.

That's TG's fault.   Once again the line match ups were atrocious and we had home ice advantage on the changes.  Go figure???   I hope our next coach resolves that little issue!

"I liked almost our whole game. The last five minutes of the second period we turned the puck over a couple times outside their blue line, but a really strong push in the third. I feel like I've said it before but sometimes you play really well and lose. I think we had two crossbars and three breakaways in the third period alone, so... Their goalie was pretty good, to say the least. We wanted to apply pressure right away. That was a great hockey game. Two good teams that played well. Give them credit, they found a way to win on the road. But I liked the way our team played as well." - Green
