Its so frustrating, you can see it clearly time & time again. I know its a young team but when you have guys like Schaller, Eriksson, Benn, exc. (some of the veterans) doing it then its hard to just blame inexperience.

I've been harping on it for awhile now & I'm going to keep doing it because its a real problem that has cost us points.

We are pretty good at turning pucks over now in the offensive zone with guys like Leivo, Pearson, Miller, Horvat, Boeser, Roussel, exc. but we need that same mindset of attack defensively. You just can't allow elite players the extra opportunity.

Ditto based on my untrained eye test but just enjoy the #^/& show and hopefully they still get into the playoffs with a better game plan (perhaps Green has a playoff plan that he is keeping secret to prevent any team from prepping) - as fans we can only hope..

Guess the other 46 years were Green’s fault too right?

Nope, AV and his gum chewing, turn the other cheek, No retaliation,  Green like coaching took perhaps the best NHL team since the early Oilers and gave us nothing so I blame him as well, Green is just following up on that wimpy culture and destroying what could become another talented team.

"I liked almost our whole game. The last five minutes of the second period we turned the puck over a couple times outside their blue line, but a really strong push in the third. I feel like I've said it before but sometimes you play really well and lose." - Green

im getting tired of Greens post game comments.

same crap + compliment the other team + refuse to call out his team.

That's TG's fault.   Once again the line match ups were atrocious and we had home ice advantage on the changes.  Go figure???   I hope our next coach resolves that little issue!

I didn't have a huge problem with linematchups. I think at times you gotta let Petey go against the top guys, he's still young but he's an elite player & he's gotta be able to do it.

Its just our in-zone defensive strategy is a major problem IMO.

our crowd has gotten soft af.

no more insert team name here ___ suck chants

no more taunting players

no more drowning other the oppositions fans..

like i said before, back in the early to mid 2000s you wouldn't hear from these Laff fans all game they'd be drowned out. Now you even hear those Oiler fans in the building as well these days!

disappointed by the team and fans tonight.

Green &^@#ing sucked as well. turned on the blender, had no physical game plan to play against a soft ass team like the Leaves...

Ferland was the only one trying to make it difficult for the Laffs forwards and he got injured. :picard:

LE SIGHS.

This is, how I remember it as well... I watched us play leafs in 2006, and although there were lots of Leafs sweaters in the building, they were drowned out at that game...

I was at that one too. My first ever NHL game infact.

I think its just too hard to afford tickets now, that plus getting in & out of such a congested area (unavoidable problem).

Yeah the home crowd took a turn for the worse after 2011-12 when we started losing a bunch. Was that when the sell out streak ended?

Aquaman and fans have one job to do support the team at home.

Absolute joke with all those Leafs fans and chants.

How do you think players feel hearing Leafs chants at home.

With a team barely over .500, expensive ticket prices and Jeckle-Hyde team play, It's no surprise that the seats are not full of Canuck's fans.   Until they start playing stronger and more consistently, the place will not sell out.   While I still believe we'll get in the playoffs, I think we have a ways to go....

Cheers that has definitely a lot to do with.... Roy Keane once called it the prawn sandwich fans at Old Trafford... same problem, they old time fans used to cheers and sing all the time, but they slowly vanished as the tickets got more expensive, and the newer type of fans in their suits, didn't sing and shout like the original core...

This might be a hot take but when are we going to acknowledge that Boeser has been cruising all year while getting easy points off of his teammates? Is it time to demote him down the lineup to send a message or does he not get that treatment?

Maybe trade him and Horvat and make Leivo captain?    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Relax. Anderson had the game of his life tonight. Any other night this would have been a 5-3 game.

The home crowd took a turn for the worse when the Nucks became trendy and the suits invaded staring at their cell phone and/or posting selfies the entire game.

Idk bout that.

Losing a ton, toppled with the cost of living rising probably.

When we become a consistent playoff team we will probably see more from the crowds. We're a bit away from that though.

If anyone here is complaining or trying to blame someone for the loss tonight give your head a shake. Boys played hard, ran into a hot Goalie here and couldn’t finish but boy the compete was there. Toronto got away lucky tonight. God I hate TORONTO
