[Trade] Devils trade Taylor Hall, Blake Speers to Coyotes for Kevin Bahl, Nick Merkley, Nate Schnarr, 2020 1st-round pick, conditional 2021 3rd-round pick

Well Canucks can kiss their playoff chances goodbye now.  Vegas, San Jose finding their stride again, Yotes solidifying strong team, Edmonton hanging to dear life onto McDavid and Draisaitl, Flames finding their legs as well.

Canucks finding themselves trending backwards.......New Jersey now needs a LW.......

I remember how at the start of the season, a few posters in this forum were essentially laughing at the Coyotes and Chayka. I wonder if they're still doing that...

I was skeptical of his approach but he's done well. He's made some puzzling moves as all rookie GM’s make. But as a whole he's done well so far.

I did predict them to be a wild card team though, they've exceeded that so far.

ARZ has been the front runner all week to land Hall..

They were haggling over Kevin Bahl. Big 6'6 230lbs Dman . ARZ 2nd round pick in 2018 playing in CHL OTT right now...

ARZ already a good team just got better. Hall will play well, he wants to play in playoffs and he's UFA end of season. Lots of motivation for him to perform..

Does Baertschi, Eriksson, Stetcher, Levio get us   PK and their 1st?

(Don't want PK but I figure it lowers the value of the 1st so we can get rid of Eriksson)

The thing is, I actually understand why the posters were saying that. On paper, their lineup doesn't look fearsome at all. Imho, the Canucks have the more talented lineup. But one can't argue with the results. It can't be the desert air...

I don't know enough about the players to say anything about em, but you've gotta think this hurts our playoff chances a bit.

Arizona's been good this year and they just got another legit piece to help out their top six. Central's been strong too, so even wild card may be iffy.

Everyone but LA (and they've been better lately) is gunning for those three divisional spots.
