CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Well Canucks can kiss their playoff chances goodbye now. Vegas, San Jose finding their stride again, Yotes solidifying strong team, Edmonton hanging to dear life onto McDavid and Draisaitl, Flames finding their legs as well. Canucks finding themselves trending backwards.......New Jersey now needs a LW....... dm_ranger
Risky if he walks as a UFA as I don't think this puts them into contender range. Wonder if there is a condition of a signing after the trade attached?
canuck73_3
Well Arizona finally has a legit scoring threat. Let's see if he's a fit there now.

I did predict them to be a wild card team though, they've exceeded that so far. Edited December 16, 2019 by canuck73_3
HockeyHarry
So who gets the 2020 #1 overall draft pick? Nj or Arizona. Hall has the Draft voo doo magic.
WHL rocks
ARZ has been the front runner all week to land Hall.. They were haggling over Kevin Bahl. Big 6'6 230lbs Dman . ARZ 2nd round pick in 2018 playing in CHL OTT right now... ARZ already a good team just got better. Hall will play well, he wants to play in playoffs and he's UFA end of season. Lots of motivation for him to perform..
BCNate
I'm guessing it's: Bahl 2020 or 2021 1st Conditional 2nd, upon resiging 2 B level prospects

(Don't want PK but I figure it lowers the value of the 1st so we can get rid of Eriksson)
-AJ-
Should make the Coyotes a legit contender, but will hurt them if they don't re-sign him. Sounds like they're giving up quite a bit.

On paper, their lineup doesn't look fearsome at all. Imho, the Canucks have the more talented lineup. But one can't argue with the results. It can't be the desert air...

Arizona and Vegas will battle for 1-2 especially now that Hall is in the mix. Edmonton is coming back down to earth now with zero secondary scoring and zero cap space to fix it. Calgary is too inconsistent especially in net to be a lock. San Jose has a 2013-2016 Canucks feel to their fall in the standings. And awful goaltending. Still way to early to write the Canucks off.. Coconuts
I don't know enough about the players to say anything about em, but you've gotta think this hurts our playoff chances a bit. Arizona's been good this year and they just got another legit piece to help out their top six. Central's been strong too, so even wild card may be iffy. Everyone but LA (and they've been better lately) is gunning for those three divisional spots.
