They can beat the Bettmans cheating insta-cup contender's. How ridiculous is it they are exempt from the expansion draft? If the NHL had any class, they'd also have made the bottom 6-8 teams exempt. Why did LV need to pick 30 players for a 22 man roster, it gave them depth right off the bat. They just parlayed all the extra players into dozens of draft picks including THREE first rounders in their first draft. They made dozens of trades before they even played a game. Bettman isn't the genius he thinks he is. Unless fleecing all your struggling teams to create an instant Cup favourite to rub it in every time they play you.
