Yeah, considering the last game was the worst defeat in Canadian history, thought they would have came out better and have scored a bunch of goals.

I find that every good play we make is due to individual talent and not the system.

The Germans defend well and make it pretty hard to gain the zone. The first goal was always going to be crucial. If Canada can find a second goal it will probably start to snowball when the Germans have to start taking more risks.

Germans have done well, got to give them credit as well. I just feel like Canada is missing that firepower — probably has to do with their two first-line players being out.

Weaker hockey nations, like Germany, often don’t have the top teams’ depth in their rosters to compete for a whole game.  Germans have 3 or 4 really good players, and a bunch of hard working, good skating guys who are pretty average though.  It’s really hard for those 3 or 4 top guys to carry the team for the full sixty.

I’ll admit I didn’t wake up for this one.

Really Happy for the boys to lock this one down. It looks like composure has returned to the group quarterbacked by solid Goaltending and Key players taking control. Lots of great lessons being learn on how to be a professional athlete. !

looking forward to Tomorrow’s game. Lafreniere would be a sweet addition for the semis. Hopeful he can still return although I’m doubtful.

Way to go Foote!  Proud Rockets fan here!!
