Yep.  Skates like him but doesn't have his shot (yet).   He's just getting started - wouldn't surprise me if he's a consistent 70 point defenseman in his 20's, something the league hasn't seen since EK.   Him and Makar make quite the pair.   Figured at worst we had a Rafalski on our hands - at best a Housley - and at best it definitely is.

What’s impressive is the Canucks have never won the draft lottery and never drafted higher than #5 overall in Benning’s tenure as GM.

the real eye-opener for me with this is that the canucks' all-star representative in 2017, who has only gotten better and been named captain in the ensuing 3 years, is now 6th on the list of who you'd choose from this team:
