What does this mean? Easy women? Maybe you shouldn’t be split screening between this site and Tinder. I think you’re sending messages to the wrong sites.

Not sure I follow the connection between Myers and Surrey girls. Puzzling at best.

I think they are trying to justify the Myers signing

well trying to drive the Cost for Stecher down

Trust me this happens a lot look at Virtanen until they had no choice but to play him more

This bugs me. Virtanen is playing 2 mins less per night then last year.

Sometimes players just deserve credit for their hard work like management deserves credit for their patience and development.

Tired of the whole “mystery” behind why a player is playing the way he is. Or that so and so was holding him back.

An assist for John Shorthouse jinxing the team from the start of OT... "Canucks team has never lost to Carolina in extra time"

"Demko is 7-7 in shootouts this year".. Carolina proceeds to score two and win.

Just shut up. Talk about those stats after the game you plug

Means nothing.

Some takeaways from this game (thank you pvr)

putting Brock back with Elias sure created some spark!

when you don’t practice 3-3, and suddenly the coach throws you there in overtime, you may, just may look completely lost, Jake and Sutter.

demko looked solid, maybe that third goal though....

man our power play has to get better. But give Carolina credit, they were aggressive on the kill.
carolina look like a team who likes to act and play tough, but as soon as you push back, they flop and whine and cry to the refs.

lastly, I put all the blame on short house. Just before Carolina scored their 2nd shootout goal, while the player was skating in, he said “Demko is 7-7 in shootouts!” jinxed...it...totally...

3/4 points on back to back afternoon games in the eastern time zone, Good job guys! I’m proud! Keep it going!

Go Canucks!

I love what Tanev brings to the team but I don’t think 3 on 3 is his thing

we need to play Hughes, Edler and Stetcher in ot

I don’t mind Myers but he is risky in the defensive side

Three on three is high risk hockey, that IS the point - they want a goal scored in 5 minutes or less. If you want really high risk put a slow defenceman out there. Myers, Hughes, and Tanev are all good skaters - which is Green uses them.

It’s because he seems to still think he’s the high end puck mover offensive D man he was in junior.

A perfect example of that this game was when he had a clear lane to the net with a teammate crashing the net and what does he decide to do? He tries to snipe the puck top corner at an impossible angle instead of just shooting low and creating a rebound or getting a lucky bounce.

So many of his defensive gaffs come from him trying to do too much offensively. Wringing the puck around the boards high and wide allowing the other team to transition. Or just getting caught way to deep because he doesn’t recognize there’s already three guys deep.

When he keeps it simple and doesn’t take too many risks he’s much more effective.

Our second and fourth lines looked very slow and tired tonight. Especially the Horvat line. Back end of a back to back and the older guys were tired - they saw a lot of ice against the Islanders - wouldn’t have minded seeing more of the Gaudette line with Jake - they had lots of energy tonight.

Definitely need to get Virtanen on the first pp. Boeser is not making the grade. Horvat would be next to go.

PPP's in the last 23 games:

Virtanen - 7

Miller - 4

Pettersson - 3

Horvat - 1

Boeser - 1

That's with Jake being the only one NOT on the #1 PP. Not surprising though because 6 points in the last 5 games got him sent back down to the 3rd line.

I counted a game he was actually on the 3rd line by mistake.

Is Green a good coach, or are we just a really good team, and the coaching makes no difference?

Totally agree.  No way should Edler get a sniff of the ice in OT.  Should be 4 minutes of Hughes, and one minute of Tanev.  Anything else is simply terrible coaching.

I didn't like Jake's game today. Not that he was that bad but seemed uninspired.

I would have liked Green to keep him up the line up for longer. He seemed to be getting his swagger.

Not bad, we got one point in the 2nd of BTB game.

We got 5 of 6 points in the road up to this moment.

We are the first of the division.

The players played hard, fast, skill, Just loss in SO which need some lucky.

We loss the winning streak, but will start another winning streak soon.

If a coach wants to ruin a young player’s confidence there is no quicker way than to sit him the first sign of poor play.  Jake will go back to thinking about making mistakes again, instead of just playing naturally.  Our team is great, but IMO Green is not the coach to take us to a Cup.

I thought Meyers had a good game today lol. Got lots of offensive chances and scored a goal. Didn't look lost defensively in my opinion.

The whole team looked tired and rightfully so. Our team defense is a million times better than last year I'm not sure what there is to complain about. Our window hasn't even opened yet, it's a marathon not a race and this team has progressed well this season.

Some people just arent happy unless they're complaining about something

He's looked good shortly before the All Star break and has settled into a more stable game for sure, he's shooting  and carrying the puck more too.

I'm a centrist when it comes to Green, ha. I don't dig his deployment, yet we have a great record and an inspired team. I respect your question, Is Green a good coach, or are we just a really good team..

I feel in Jake's case, he gets it too hard. Green has done well with him but I want him to let the leash out a bit more. Jake has earned it.
