If we could just get one more Miller I think this team would be a force (not that it isn't already).  I love his tenacity, and his work ethic is unmatched.

Ferland was supposed to be that guy (maybe slightly less offensive talent, but hard to play against).  Too bad his mystery injury is keeping him out of the line-up.  In any case Miller has been outstanding and he fully deserves the recognition.  Go Canucks Go!

I didnt know much about JT Miller before he came to the Canucks as his whole career was spent in the East.  I always thought he was a solid player but I'm surprised at how skilled and tenacious he is.  I think he'll a big part of our core for years to come as he's still only 26.

I'm also starting to think he was one of the key players in Tampa's historic regular season last year.

Was worried the two picks sent to Tampa were going to be named the first and second stars.....to give the trolls more oxygen.

Or that Future Considerations guy. I figured he was gonna be an all-star by now.

So far, even when healthy, Ferland has been dissapointing.

Yeah, he hasn't lived up to expectations but has he really ever been 100% healthy in a Canucks uniform?  There's a lot of doubt surrounding that.  When on his game he can be an effective player (and difficult to play against).  There's still a chance he can regain his form.  Here's hoping...  Go Canucks Go!

I don't believe we have had a healthy Ferland.  I have a funny feeling, as we role into the playoff season, Ferland will come up and will be able to make a difference for us, same with Leivo.  There is potential for a perfect storm that may see this team make it to the 3rd round!

But Van got him on a friendly deal with no assets given up. He hasn't been healthy to be able to determine that either.

Even if Furley only plays down the stretch and the playoffs, that’s a win for us.  Like you say, he cost no assets.

agreed. honestly I don't think he ever really got over his concussion troubles. at this point I think he should sit out the rest of the season, I think that would be best for his long term health and for his NHL career.
