Benn can play either side. Point is that we are down a man on LD so Brisebois came up to replace that. fanfor42 Posted February 8, 2020 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Fantenberg was the 6th D. He got hurt so the 7th D will play. That's Benn. They called up Brisebois to be the fill in at 7. He won't play. He will sit. People spend energy worrying about who got called up. You have to look at who is being replaced. It is number 6. If Rafferty or Juolevi are going to get called up, it is going to be because there are two spots needed to be filled in the top 4. At that point the team may take a chance on bringing one of them up.The brass want Rafferty to work on his pivot. And Juolevi to keep getting better defensively and stay healthy. To replace number 7 sitting in the press box they ain't bringing up either of those guys. Brisebois is getting an attaboy and a paycheck at the big league level.
