Disappointing effort by most of the team, especially when they're in such a tight playoff race...bound to happen with a young club. At the very least, Marky is going to enter the next game with a full week of rest.  Gonna bet that Marky is going to be a monster for the final stretch coming up.  Any takers on the bet?

This team has a leadership group, right?

Yes, the veterans brought in by JB to lead.  I think the group is actually good; it’s the systems and passive philosophy of the coach that are the issue.  We seriously need a coaching change.  It’s not going to happen, but it should.

Rouselle's game is missing, anybody know what may be happening there?

well, he has missed 28 games this year.

not down on him, but I'd probably look at what he'd bring in a seller's market and replace him with an expiring contract.

Marky has been covering up some big flaws on the back end.

They just can't afford to lose games like this at home. Everyone else in Canada is expecting the Canucks to implode and miss the playoffs, I really hope they don't fulfil their own prophecy.

Well when you start the game off with an absolutely beautiful block into your own net against the Ducks, you're just asking for this to happen. This was one of those games that the Canucks were only going to win if they had a bit of luck and played for a 2-1 overtime win with how the bounces were going. Of course, shooting themselves in the foot early on prevented them from being able to play for the tie.

But on the plus side, the Canucks won the most important of important stat lines, Shots on Goal! They beat them by a whopping 10 shots! Double digits! Wowza!

A crummy way to finish off Sedin Week, but if they get the win against Minnesota on Wednesday, they won't really be in a worse position.
