That's not how it works.

It would be a cap recapture penalty like Luongo's.

Probably around 1.5 a year

Are we allowed to bury the contract by sending LE to Utica?  He would have to clear waivers, but that should free up a lot of cap space.

That only frees up 1.1 million. But of that is done, someone has to fill the vacant spot on the team somewhere

It seems TT fits Canucks, who will help the team up to another level.

If we only could keep one of TT and Boeser, I will pick TT.

I love Boeser, I don't see why we keep both of them.

For the cap issue, I trust BN have a way to resolve it.

lol 3 games with a new team and we are already ready to get rid of bb for tt lol... if it comes down to cap lol.. if anything pearson will be gone before we get rid of a boeser in the top 6 if it's for cap reason lol.. but i guess we can't since another guy was arguing with me toffoli only works coz pearson is his best friend

could the nucks possibly lose both BB and Toffoli?

No.

I can see Roussel, and Sutter moved. Both have limited NTC's.  ($7.3 million)

Stecher sadly will probably be a victim of the numbers game.    ($2.3 million)

Same with Leivo.                                                                            ($1.5 million)

Ferland could well be on LTIR.                                                     ($ 3.5 million)

Goldy, Pope, and Bachman will be off the books.                       ($ 2.5 milllion)

That puts the Canucks at $51 million outside of bonuses.

The question is does it come down to what would other teams offer Markstrom, Tanev and Toffoli?

I find it highly unlikely we lose both BB and Toffoli.
