If we play great, and Demko doesn't have to steal the game, yes. I’m jut not too confident we will limit the Habs to less than 35 shots.

I usually agree with you, but not there. they played the same style, they just played it better. Because they played the box+1 so aggressively, they didn't have to collapse down low much. Same system, they just played it the way it's supposed to be played, imo. Edited February 25, 2020 by stawns

Sedinyoureyesontheprize
Can the team rise to the occasion? That’s ultimately what it comes down to, cause depth can’t be used as an excuse.

There is simply np other way around if they are serious about making playoffs. Competition is too tight and just no more room for subefforts games 1

You might be waiting awhile then. He never gave Green credit for the Boston game. Instead he just made an excuse for the bruins saying if they had better goaltending.
dKs89
This is one of those teams/arenas this team has struggled with. Haven’t won in regulation in Montreal in 13 years. So many of those weird streaks, like how the Canucks haven’t beaten NJ in forever or Winnipeg, they almost never get out to a good start in the games versus those teams. Just once I want this team to come out flying and start well. It’s like with the backup goalie thing, never score early on them and they build up a bunch of confidence. With or without Marky they should beat this Montreal team. 1
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Despite Montreal giving away a lot of pieces, its still a good team across the bench. Montreal's skill and speed may be our demise if we don't take authority from puck drop. 1 1
Lazurus
Montreal has had the Canucks number for awhile I also think that the flu bug may be hitting the league too. First game of 21 must wins. Green could say "get out there and break a leg" but with Weber on the ice that could be possible. This is it, the team.
