I'm going to say it. Flame away. Canucks are never winning a Cup. Vancouver is one of the best cities in the world to live in, don't want to be anywhere else. But when it comes to competition... just feels like the flakiness that is here bleeds into a team. We need some steel mills or something. In the meantime, they're still fun (mostly) to watch, and that's just a good entertainment option.

i'm thinking you are merely projecting

your own personal butt hurt feelings

but thanks for sharing anyway

i lack the total negativity you feel towards the vancouver sports scene

and still appreciate the 3 stanley cup final runs

that last 2 of which, there is some argument the nucks should have won

and that other issues distorted the outcome

the 2010 olympics was pretty competitive as well

not sure what you expect in your sport's life

but seems a tad unrealistic to me

1 win in 5 games away. concerning?

Complete different team when we are on the road. There isn't the same level of confidence/swagger. Fortunately, for the remainder of the season, we have more home games than road games after this road trip. However, we have to atleast be 0.500 on the road and maintain the same level of play on home ice to have the best shot at making the playoffs. This could be the game that light a fire under their belt and get them hungry and start going for wins again hopefully.

If I was emotionally invested, perhaps as much as you, then the term "butt hurt" might apply. Unfortunately, I'm not. Even a little. But thanks for sharing anyway.

Also, unclear on how the 2010 Olympics factor. That's just weird.

Finally, those 3 runs: no Cups won right? My hypothesis stands until proven wrong. Thanks for coming out tho!

No need to wait..

..Green states "They are a heavy team....hungry for wins....we need to play better".

So Travis... we lost to a bunch of fat guys??? Hungry for wins??? We aren't hungry for wins? I like Green but what a total bulls%$t statement.
