i'm thinking you are merely projecting

your own personal butt hurt feelings

but thanks for sharing anyway

i lack the total negativity you feel towards the vancouver sports scene

and still appreciate the 3 stanley cup final runs

that last 2 of which, there is some argument the nucks should have won

and that other issues distorted the outcome

the 2010 olympics was pretty competitive as well

not sure what you expect in your sport's life

but seems a tad unrealistic to me

50 years and counting.. He might be onto something...

i know Ottawa is a snooze fest town but I didn't expect the Nucks to bring pillows to the game. What an embarrassment. I truly believed they would count their blessings from a steal in Mtl and come out swinging. The opposite happened. the team was disinterested from puck drop. No fight, no might, no team. Ottawa is only playing for pride. Most players on this team seemed to have no pride tonight. Pettey was pissed, I liked that, but what about our expensive sand paper? No more grit from polishing too many diamonds?

I'm ranting because I usually only get to attend one game a year and it happened to be this let down. The shot clock does not tell the true story. At least lower bowl tickets were only $65. Time to sit some of these veteran passengers and bring in some passion from the farm. No play-offs if this attitude prevails. Or, even if we squeak in, we will be pummelled and bitc& slapped all the way to the golf green.

That one hurts

Can't have these off nights - race is getting tighter

Toronto and Columbus will be no easy task

I agree on the Roussel take - something is not right - it's been a couple months back from injury -  expected to see the player from last season

See you Sat

This is what the Canucks have been doing for a while now only Marky isn't there to steal the game.

Our Sedin week homestand ( aside from the Nashville/Boston games ) were brutal!

They also had 4 extra guys on the ice wearing stripes.

the officials were not that bad. Yes the non-call hook on Pettey in the slot on a scoring opportunity with less than 4 mins to go was total BS but the Nucks were a no show for the first two periods and bent over to a grittier team. That's was bugs me the most. Show some balls and push back.

feel free to join his negative out look on the world

try a positive viewpoint

3x to finals by nucks in 50 years is statistically average

but 2 game 7s in the last 2 finals is not

that is damn good

whitecaps won an nasl title

lions have won grey cups

the 2010 olympics was a huge success in vancouver

nat bailey is the cutest little baseball park anywhere

but i am not here to convince you of anything

have a pooh pooh outlook

i'm sure that makes you?

happy ?

really?

It'd be nice if we played a defensive system that insulated our goalie better, I see other teams play an efficient defensive zone game and it hurts me

We couldn't hold huge leads over Washington and Pittsburgh this year and I believe another nightmare was in MSG too trying to protect a tighter lead.

Looking at a couple lines tonight

Bo- Peason- Motte 9-2 changes against

Bo - Pearson- Gaudette- 6-0 chances for

so..

Bo- Pearson- Gaud

miller- petey- TT

Eriksson - sutter jake

Beagle - Mac - Motte

sit Roussel in hindsight as Eriksson didnt have a terrible game

Keep Motte on the 4th line only

I thought Gaudette was not good at all tonight, he certainly doesn't belong on the 2nd line, why not try Bailey there

Well, we didn't get the saves and Ottawa's goalie was very very good.

On to the next one, no need to be that upset over one loss.

Leave it to Vancouver to get scored on 3 times by a guy with 1 goal in 17 games coming in. Poor shot selection by our guys. Was hoping to ride a high from the Boston game. Oh well, on to Toronto.

I mean, weren't 16 of those games the lowest point of his career where he was battling substance abuse?

If so, very unfair statistic to bring up.

I'm fine with Green, but Baumer and Brown.. they gotta go.

Well I kind of agree, but if we miss the playoffs I'm good with a complete overhaul.

Green is guilty of Einstein's famous line: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
