Vancouver is one of the best cities in the world to live in, don't want to be anywhere else. But when it comes to competition... just feels like the flakiness that is here bleeds into a team. We need some steel mills or something. Dont know if thats slowing him down but he looks nothing like he did last year. They need a big d man back there that can separate players from the puck. Stech got owned in the corners ...makes matters worse when they play the 5 man box collapse and on the occasion the puck goes to the corner they cant win puck battles. A big young d man that can hit, separate even the biggest players from the puck and make a good first pass out. Moe Knows Posted February 28, 2020 Share Posted February 28, 2020 Very disappointing effort. Demko was both excellent and awful but he has to make the easy saves not just the hard ones. Hopefully he can find consistency or our playoff hopes may be dashed. The second key is that Petey has to return to form. It kind of feels like a repeat of last year when he tailed off during the last third of the season. Really wasn't expecting that to happen this season....and where would we be without JT Miller?
