If he wasn't that guy he wouldn't be named captained. He's been a leader since junior and it's just part of his character. It's not like speaking up is the only part of the role. I dont think I said "terrible captain" I love Bo but I kind of feel like we may have given him captaincy too early. Yes Bo plays hard on the ice, but my problem is that I dont think hes got the personality to be tough on guys when needed. Hes too nice of a guy imo. That is far from a knock on him as a player. I feel like we need a Kesler type captain. One that will hold guys accountable, and will make them play harder each and every night. A real captain wouldnt have his team overlook a bottom feeder like the Sens just days after losing 5-1 to another bottom feeder in the Ducks. We need someone that will have the team playing hard for the W each and every night, not just against the good teams. Wether its coaching or leadership idk. It's probably both.
