Arrow 1983
Losing for a top 10 draft pick isn't a popular idea right now but in about a week or so I'm guessing a lot of people will see it my way

Trebreh
the Oil are giving it to the Preds... that's how a hungry team should be playing. I expect a similar effort from the Canucks tomorrow!

Popular Post King Heffy
Getting our young core some playoff experience is going to be more valuable than a higher draft position. We're in a weak division and should be competitive once Brock and Marky are back. Get this tanking garbage out of the GDT! 5

Popular Post Brad Marchand
It took a good 24 hours or so of my own post-Columbus anguishing to realize that I'm really sick and tired of the 'woe-is-me' attitude that permeates through elements of this fanbase. Any time the Canucks go through a slump, the same chorus of relentlessly dumping on the players, coaches, and management takes over. I'm not talking about the kind of critiquing that happens when a team doesn't play as well it should. That will always be part of a healthy discussion forum. It's the 'fire the coaches, fire the management, get these players off the damn team, start tanking because there's no hope' kind of talk that always takes over when they lose a few games in a row. Grow up. Life isn't perfect. No team, let alone any person, is going to be able to waltz their way through everything they do without encountering adversity along the way. I didn't like the way the Canucks fell apart against the Jackets. Nobody should be happy about that. But enough with the 'sky is falling' crap. The hysteria without any meaningful substance behind it is unbearable to read. Edited March 3, 2020 by Brad Marchand 1 12 1
