Build your starting lineup: Challenge

Hey CDC! I saw this on twitter so I thought I'd post it here to see what your starting lineup combination would be!

Here's mine (I made two just cause):

Bure-Pettersson-Boeser = $12

Ehrhoff-Tanev = $3

Luongo = $6

There would be no issues with scoring from this lineup! And there weren't that many goalies better than Luongo in his prime.

OR

Naslund-Pettersson-Bure = $16

Ehrhoff-Tanev = $3

Miller = $2

Scoring on for this lineup would be off the charts. Miller didn't play that long with us but he was a top goalie in his prime. Can't go wrong with the Hoff and his offensive ability while Tanev shuts the top players down.

Goalie- Ryan Miller at $2 he is an incredible value.

Doug Lidster $4 decent value, a 200 foot player

Ed Jovanoski $3 great skater, heavy hitter

Linden $4 a very good value

Henrik $6

Adams $2  great value

I'm really struggling with 21, 22 would be perfect, so I'll go with:

Miller (1) - Linden (4) - Gradin (3)

Öhlund (6) - Lumme (4)

Miller (2)

Playoff-build. Physical, strong defensive game throughout, clutch, experience, skill.

That's 20, so I would have 1 left to buy Boeser or Tanev, should Gradin or Lummer struggle in the new NHL...

Bure ($6) - Pete ($5) - Kesler ($2) - wizard up the middle to pass to two north-south guys with speed and scoring, and Kes take draws like J.T. Miller does.

Hammer ($2) - Jovo ($3) - Rugged, shutdown duo with some breakout ability (Bieksa was probably a safer, riskier version of Jovo)

Miller ($2) - 29 wins in his first season, was a top goalie

JT Miller (1) Linden (4) Bure (6)

Hughes (6) Hamhuis (2)

R. Miller (2)

I think this line-up is designed for the playoffs.  A fast but physical line-up that is great defensively.  Linden and Miller are face-off machines too!

This was almost my line as well haha.  Except I was even a little more psycho than you and I was gonna have Ehrhoff rather than Hamhuis!

I decided against it because I thought someone would tell me they'd be pushed around.

Miller (1)  -  Linden (4)  - Bure (6)          Total forwards = 11 million

Hamhuis (2) - Hughes (6)                Total defense = 8 million

Miller(2)

Team total = 21 million

My thoughts, Miller is a bargain at 2 million, I'll take that anyday,

The forward kine of Miller, Linden and Bure is a great conbo of explosive scoring with excellent defensive awareness and sandpaper  in Miller an Linden.Linden was developed in to a center and became excellent at that position so he can win the draws draw and Miller is also a center/wonger so it is good to have that diversity.

The defense is an excellent balance with Hammer at a great rate to be the shut down guy who compliments Hughes who can make space for Bure to finish the plays,

Nice lines, I had read the other posts until after I posted but we came up with the same lineup. I think this is a perfectly balance lineup
